Nice pics. Looks pretty dead though. Must be a bad year for tourism.

Oh yeah, 15 years ago when I took and posted the pics?

I bet the tourism is in the negative today, might even be a time travel vacuum.

Wow I can’t believe it’s already been 15 years since photobucket did that.

Cat photos AND "Frisco"? OMG

Photobucket stole my photos too. It didn't really bother me though. They were just rezzed down scans of prints, as I only do B&W darkroom photography. If I need to post anything online, which is almost never, Imgar is a lot of fun. Totally free, and you can put your pics into albums. It's a great photo hosting site.

At any rate, travel between SoCal and NorCal is mostly back to how it was pre-pandemic. I drive to Las Vegas (where my family lives) occasionally now, via Bakersfield, and everything along the way seems to be open again. I rarely stop for more than a quick pit stop, but if you wanted to take your time you easily could.

So unless you're personally being cautious, hotels and restaurants and gas stations are good to go.
They keep telling me my subscription has expired even though they're still billing me and have been for months, maybe even more than a year. I can't seem to get my photos downloaded either. That supports the idea that they're being held hostage. I tried their "help" area. No help. I refuse to deal with it. I probably have everything saved in several other places anyway, but this reminds me that I need to cancel that "expired" subscription.
