Such an awful story, but I'm glad they caught the bastard who did this... I can't even imagine what the victims' mother/wife is going through. If this teaches us anything, it's that we all need to calm down on the road! I was just in this neighborhood tonight (where the shooting happened), and reminded myself to be courteous and aware. Anyway, here's the latest update:

I heard also that he was a possible suspect in a second incident similar to this a few hours before?

When will it all stop? What will it take to stop it?

glad they arrested someone and if he is guilty I hope he is punished severely. It's one thing when criminals kill each other but it's just so sad when innocent people who are good citizens get killed for no good reason. Can't even begin to imagine what his wife and the rest of his family is going through....

Just step back a few decades - to a time when criminals had no idea which citizens were armed and how much grief they would be bringing on themselves if they let their egos feel "dissed" and pulled a gun every time something didn't go their way.

From an outsider's view, I think it's ridiculous. For the life of me, I do not understand why law-abiding, tax-paying citizens do not react to this. Maybe it is time for the formation of another political party; a party who primary interest is in the middle class, who are taxed to death to pay for the social services of the groups who are primarily responsible for these crimes.

Not sure I fully understand the last two posts... what is MS, and what group do you (LUGH) think he belongs to? I'm not disagreeing necessarily, just trying to decipher the posts. Either way, this man deserves to pay for his crime!

Is that a gang? I heard something (on the news) about his ties to a national gang, so that's probably it... oy.

Yeah, MS, also known as MS-13 or Mara Salvatrucha, is a gang that started in El Salvador, and is now all over the US. It's even supposedly in Europe as well. They say there are around 800,000 members worldwide.

I'm glad they caught him (They actually arrested someone for once?). I also can't imagine what the mother is feeling. That's half her family gone right there. The news says she's pleading for him to get the death penalty, but I doubt Kamala Harris will ever give that out to anyone.
