You must either not live in the town of Sonoma or really like a warm room. The summer temps in Sonoma (the town) can easily get into the upper 90s to low 100s. It doesn't generally last for long periods of time, but a week is not unheard of. Generally, on the first few days, its not too bad, but by the 4th or 5th day, the heat has built up to a point where it gets unbearable, especially late in the afternoon when it gets the hottest, and you will be REALLY glad to have the A/C pumping.

All things considered, its not that bad. But I wouldn't say that it doesn't ever get "too hot" in the town of Sonoma.

Thank you all, really appreciate it.
We went up to Sonoma county a few times last year, looked around at all the places there.
We live close to the coastal part of southern California, we understand anywhere away from the coast will be a lot warmer in the summer for us. That said, weather is not the only thing to consider. Sonoma county is beautiful, but we think maybe living closer to a major city is more important for us at this point, so, we are still looking.
