Wow, great pictures! I especially love the guy in the tiger Pimp suit... LOL. Oh, and one of my friends works at that Apple store, so I hope he's not being annoyed by the protesters.

love these pics. Not what I thought San fran would be like. I love it. Toronto/NYC feel to the pics yet west coast. Very cosmopolitan.

FYI: I deleted the above post & part of another, because this should be a photo-only thread... no discussions outside of commenting on the photos, or statements directly related to the photo content (i.e. When was that building erected?). I did leave the original post by jessem, since it was a response to something relevant, but let's try not to take it further. Thanks!

Some pictures from the Richmond Marina (Marina Bay)... taken with my cell, so please excuse the grainy quality.

Anyone know what kind of bird this is? Crane??

You identified your pictures correctly. I haven't really looked at the City that closely before. BTW, the hotel at the top is the Fairmont - it's the original and one of the few buildings left standing after the 1906 earthquake and fire. It was used as the St. Gregory in a TV series (the name of which I have forgotten) which featured James Brolin and Anne Baxter. The series originally started with Bette Davis, but during the taping of the second or third show, Miss Davis had a stroke and was replaced. I worked as a Manager of the Banque which was located in the hotel; even during the taping. No, our branch was never in the series, but I did see many of the actors and spoke with some of the crew.
Thank you for such wonderful pictures.
Ken
