Default Blue skies?

Somebody mentioned that it's hard to get "blue sky" pics in San Francisco... that is true, even (especially) in the summer, but I got a few the other day! Of course the day before was incredibly foggy, and the next day it actually rained - but hey, one day of blue skies is more than none.

Sutro Tower masked by the sun - usually the fog's job, LOL.

Does anyone have pics of Marin/Sonoma/Napa? I've been to Marin and parts of Sonoma but would love to see more pics of the area!

I worked in Napa for a while, and it's really beautiful up there... didn't have much time for photography, but here are a few pics for ya.

"Old Town" Napa (about 2 blocks from where I worked)

And some vineyard/road shots...

Cacti in Northern CA?

Hagafen winery... I stopped there to get a bottle of Kosher wine for my dad.

My dog approves of the scenery!

I've probably posted these before, but here are some Mission district pics... although if you REALLY want to see the gritty side of SF, come to my part of town (Bayview/HP). Personally, I love the Mission - it's just so vibrant and welcoming!

Mission-Dolores Park

And Mission Street...

(translation: We have nice blouses for ladies! )

Sadly, there was a fatal shooting at this corner recently...

Oh, and here's a crazy scene I saw at Mission/24th recently... the cop crashed into a Muni stop while chasing some dude. Whoops!
