Look forward to it! Your photo album reminded me of why I love to visit that city so much.

Sweet! I'll be there the 6th to the 13th. I'd love to stay longer, like a year or two honestly, but I have summer classes starting on the 18th. Oh well. Someday.

Default Alameda

My fiance and I were in the east bay area trying to figure out where to live this past week. We fell IN LOVE with Alameda, and even managed to secure a decent apartment to be ready for us when we move in a couple months.

I thought I would share some pictures I took from a walk along the beach, for anyone else thinking of moving to this lovely little island.

Otherwise I really enjoyed seeing your pictures! I didn't make it to the actual parade, since I don't get up early on my days off - LOL. We went to the fair though, and covered about every inch of it... posted a few pics on my thread entitled "SF Pride." Thanks for sharing!
There is nothing wrong with the other people presenting another opinion at or near the parade. It is nice to see that San Francisco has a place for people to display their opinion even if it is not the status quo. San Francisco is a bubble and many of you don't have a clue what it is like in Real America and the strong values that traditional Americans hold. I myself have no issues with the gay community, but I am less likely to support any of your causes after the way you treated the Latter-day Saint and Catholic communities after Proposition 8 passed. It was a disgrace. People in my LDS and Catholic family have volunteered in Aids clinics here in Chicago and I won't anymore after what went down.
