Does anyone know what the plans are for this, now that it's empty? I pass this regularly on the way to work and it's destined to become an eyesore if it stays--it's already overgrown with graffiti now added. I thought I'd heard that high-rise condos were going to be placed on that land. It's sad to see it now--it had always been hopping with business in its heyday.

OK now I've got their jingle stuck in my head. Pretty bad when you've heard a commercial/jingle so many times that just seeing a line of text can do that, lol.

As to what is happening with their lot I have no idea, sorry.

I think right now it's too soon for the city to think about what to do with it. It hasn't been vacant that long.

Originally, Price Charities was going to make a bid for the entire property, but apparently after running the numbers decided against it. The latest I heard, Price was considering purchasing half of the property. What exactly they would build on it, I don't know, but given that they are a charity, some sort of low income housing, either general population or senior, would probably be part of it.
