^ Why does that religion get to have their symbol the biggest on public land? The country was founded on separation of church and state, in case any treasonous tea partiers or gop subsegment need reminding or they should self-emmigrate from my freedom-respecting nation.

- To remind those of us who live here why we live in such a great place

Let's hope this thread can stay alive with people adding new pics, regularly. I'll start by sharing a few that I've taken -

One I posted in another thread that should also be here

View from Harbor Island and Spanish Landing Park

From the pedestrian overpass bridge

View from Coronado

My urban Kensington neighborhood, where most of the homes were built in the 1920's and 1930's

That's it for now and I hope you participate!

Wow, I just love the area myself.. Great Pictures BTW

Thanks! Although beautiful, I get jaded with the coastal pictures. We need more pix of non-coastal locations like this. USD, SDSU, and UCSD are beautiful campuses.

We'll be back out at the end of February. I'm not sure what we'll doing, but I'll try to get more non coastal photos. My wife is a USD grad. I'll see if she some photos she would like to share.
