I started another thread this past week, asking about the Cape May apartments in the Harveston neighborhood...I didn't get much response because I obviously titled it wrong! So...again I ask...is living in the Harveston neighborhood as wonderful as it looks? It's absolutely picturesque! Do any CD posters live there? Can you offer any advice? We are retired...would we fit in? Is it relatively quiet? And again, thanks for any input!!

Herveston is lovely. The lot sizes are too small for my taste in terms of purchasing a home, but if you'll be in an apartment anyway, there's nothing to worry about. Traffic on Winchester around the mall/Trader Joe's/Winco can also be a little bit of a headache, but that also means all of that is really convenient. If you wanted to walk, you probably could. Also, without a commute, you can just drive at non-peak times. The city of Temecula has a community center located in the Harveston development, so there are a lot of fitness and recreation classes available right there. Again, super convenient. As for fitting in, the only people I know personally are early 30's with kids in elementary school, but I'm sure there are people of all ages living there. Good luck!

I lived in Harveston for about a year (in my mid 20's) - loved it there. Beautiful, clean, lake is fun, neighbors were awesome (they all baked me cookies and welcomed me immediately). I was sad to leave but I did want to buy something with a larger lot.
