Should you accept this assignment, you must agree to forever patrol the boundary line on foot or horseback, making sure no transgressors ever again dare to dispute your assessment. You may not re-assign this task to others; you must agree to do it yourself

In recompense for your service to the Realm, I will award your future heirs a vacant lot - suitable for building - in the fiefdom of San Bernardino, which will from this time forward be known as "Brandon-Gate."

All of this is, of course, subject to approval from Our Majesty, Empress Marcia, current ruler in absentia of the Inland Empire.
A'ight, then! Sounds easy enough, dawg!

As I have complete faith in the intellectual abilities, experiential resources, superior researching talents, broad wisdom & overall acumen of RosieSD, I concur with this course of action.

In other words, sounds legit.

Brandon, I leave this in your capable hands. Carry on.

AFtrEFkt, look out for him, and assist PRN.

Until I return to the fabulous IE,

Empress MMM (in absentia)

Amen.

All genuflect to the superior wisdom and grace of our lady and Empress (in absentia), MarciaMarciaMarcia.

Long May She Rule!

And blessings and glad tidings to the new Cartographer of the Inland Empire, the sire Brandon Graves, master of Brandon-Gate!

(P.S., we have an immediate opening for the position of Baron of Sanitation of the Inland Empire. Should you be interested, please inquire at I.E. Human Resources post haste)

Pomona, San Dimas, La Verne and Claremont ARE the Inland Empire. Absolutely.

First, to people in Los Angeles, anything east of Pasadena is the IE.

Second, there are clear geographical mountain passes (basically the 57 freeway) seperating the areas. Who cares where some schmucks drew a county line at, 2 miles from the pass. GEOGRAPHY RULES and that is the IE

I hereby announce the final definition of the IE. I understand and comply that this parricular definition may or may not be approved/verified by other bodies, sources, organizations, etc.:

Riverside County
Riverside, Moreno Valley, Corona, Jurupa Valley, Eastvale, Norco, Murrieta, Temecula, Wildomar, Perris, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, San Jacinto, Hemet, Banning, Beaumont, Calimesa

San Bernardino County
San Bernardino, Fontana, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Montclair, Chino, Chino Hills, Colton, Rialto, Highland, Yucaipa, Redlands, Loma Linda

I hope that you take the time to look it over thoroughly. Should there be any missing information on this definition of the IE, please inform me.

P.S.: Should I put down the census-designated places (CDPs) on there, as well?

You forgot Claremont, Pomona, La Verne, and San Dimas. Just because some spastic OCD'er 100 years drew an imaginary line 2 miles from the geographic pass/range, doesn't exclude them.
