Actually I was going to say Redlands (a place i freakin LOVE) I was thinking a bit expensive but ur right probably just as Rancho, but FOR SURE better than Temecula. And great schools. Of all of th places Redlands would be my favorite. I moved here to Las Vegas from Redlands three years ago and worked in Yucaipa. Redlands is a secret gem that many have no clue about. I can go on and on about the place.

A couple areas worth checking into are Grand Terrace (I use to live there) it was and still is a nice area and fairly close to Rancho!! Also, Loma Linda and Redlands are nice areas too, prices tend to be high but not any higher than Rancho, as far as I have seen. Check out these areas too. Good luck!

I don't know about Cucamonga...Palm springs is an incredibly relaxing area but if you want to live there you should visit Vegas a few more times...Temecula is the best of the three...my Aunt invited me to live down there and i thought it was beautiful but too many friends to leave...it's a great community..hidden away...but with enough people to make you feel rite at home...that is a great place to head off to...HOPE ALL IS WELL FRIEND

Default ...parts of Claremont?

I don't get why people are saying that "parts" of Claremont are nice...Claremont is by far the most upscale of all of the communities in the Pomona/Ontario area. I honestly can't think of any "bad" parts of Claremont. You definitely notice the difference when you enter Claremont from the surrounding communities (ie. Upland, Montclair, Pomona). Upland is quite nice too, but there are are some questionable areas. Claremont is very pricey, more so than Rancho...maybe that is what people were meaning. Temecula to Rancho would be a pretty bad commute. I would look into some of the newer developments in the North Fontana or maybe Chino. Those aren't the greatest ZIP codes, but the actual neighborhoods themselves are quite nice. Cities with a bad reputation (Pomona, Chino, Fontana, etc.) can sometimes have really good parts to them...usually on the borders with other (nicer) towns. The fact that the address is in the "trashy" city usually makes the price quite a bit lower even though it is in the same neighborhood...
Schools are among the best in Claremont, La Verne and Upland. Also Redlands has very good schools...good luck

That is just crazy to work in Ranch & live in Temecula, what an insane thing to do, that is about a 3 hr commute!!!!! You better look some where closer to live, like Upland,ca!
