Does anybody know what they are constructing on the corner of Stone Oak and Hardy Oak Blvd? The corner is the shopping center which includes SoGo Restaurant.

It will be a McDonald's. A member of my neighborhood is on the Stone Oak Architectural Control Committee and posted a notice on our neighborhood web site. They had to conform to the usual guidelines like no large signs. It's scheduled for completion in late July.

great, just what we need That's right across from the gym where I work as a trainer.

SOGO is a nice little place, I hope this doesn't ruin them. I heard Moes was decent too. So lets add a sh*t place to eat right there.

Nothing like the junkiest food ever across the street from a gym.

ahh, well then thats OK.
It's still a crap food place.(and I use the term food loosely) I personally don't care how it looks.

I have managed to keep my 6yr old from eating at McDonalds, I fear a "nice" looking McD's will bring people in thinking it is different.
makes me sad.

Mutually exclusive clientele would be my guess. Something for everyone.

I, for one, am looking forward to this Mickie D's. It's much closer than the others and I know plenty of people who will frequent. It can be a pain to get outside of SO, it's nice to have options within the community.
