If this depression over Louisiana forms into Tropical Storm Lee we may see a change in the weather, right?

Unfortunately, the NWS has this storm projected to head due north into Louisiana. From there it is forecast to drift inland and then to the northeast. It looks like the rain shield won't go much east of Houston.

If anything, being well west of tropical systems usually brings hotter and drier weather.

This is becoming pretty typical for this area, missing out on any kind of good rain.

Oh, well, maybe the next one?

Actually, the extended forecast shows a 30-40% chance of rain for most of next week, but we all know how that goes...

Still, I'm sure I'm not the only one hoping and praying it happens!

Cheers! M2

All I see on the forecast is 20% chance on next Wednesday. And you know what 20% means....very slim chance.
