Idiotic because I said the truth?

San Antonio did receive rain late last week therefore there is no reason to be needing more rain right now.

Stop the fuss and accept that San Antonio is not Seattle and therefore we do not get rain here often.

to you it may be the truth. you may be a local or illegal who is used to extremely hot temperatures. Texans can only tolerate so much heat. 50+ days of triple digit heat is rough on anyone.

is it so wrong we want it a little cooler?

I am a local. I am a Texan. I can tolerate 365 days a year of heat like today. I hate rain. I hate snow. I hate temps below 90. I hate clouds. I am a Texan and I speak for the majority.

The only truth you've said is that we're not Seattle. Seattle averages 37.07 inches of rain in a year, San Antonio averages 32.27". Seattle's got us beat by 4.8 inches.

We're in a drought, and a highly abnormal one at that. We've only had 6.72" of rain this year. August 2011 is on pace to being the hottest month ever on record since records were kept since 1870. How you manage to think this is "normal" for our area is beyond me.
