Off-topic, but it is 108 in San Luis Obispo, CA where my mom lives. They have no a/c, because they have never needed it. I called her last night and she was thisclose to being ready to visit Texas.....to cool off. Poor mama, she HATES the heat, and it's usually 78 degrees there no matter what day of the year I call or visit.

The 10-day forecast seems to be all double-digit highs...could we seen the end of endless 100° weather?

Cheers! M2

I'm not sure if this is the best place for this but it's kinda weather related.
We need RAIN!! Here are a couple pics of Medina Lake I took yesterday. This is on the north end of the lake. Some people may know it by "turk's head" or Goat Hill Park or Thousand Trails.

The white rocks you see in the pictures, where I am standing, is actually usually under water too.
