Think it will ever get as big as the one in Houston?

Houston has the worlds largest medical center and it continues to outpace every other medical center in growth.

STMC had over $350 million in expansions in 2009, but still doesn't touch the Texas Medical Center. Their facilities are much more urban and is even linked by light-rail.

The STMC will be landlocked before long as it continues to build 4 and 5 story, long, rectangular buildings that consume a lot of land. The Texas Medical Center has high rise buildings and there are new high rises being constructed now. There is no way the STMC will ever come close to Houston's medical center.
