Does anyone know where to get a "fruit smoothie"??

I have yet to find a place that serves, ice cold fresh fruit smoothies. It's so darn warm here I thought Jamba Juice would be here spreading like the plague but unfortunately the only one I've heard of here in Texas is in Austin....

For those of you whose never had a Jamba Juice its basically yogurt, mixed with fresh fruit of your choice (Mango, Strawberries, Blueberries, Oranges, Bananas, Apples, Peaches, etc.) and a boost (vitamin powder for a number of things energy, fiber etc.).
They add a some juice, put it in a blender and "Bam!" you've got yourself a healthy, tasty, fruit smoothie. They're addicting.

Is there something here in town similar??

There was a Jamba Juice at Huebner Oaks. Looking at their website however shows no SA locations.

I love Jamba Juice....and unfortunately, there aren't any in SA. I know there are numerous locations in the DFW, Houston and Austin areas, but 01Snake is right..there used to be the location off I-10 but it's no more.

Hi WWF.....we had a Jamba Juice in the HEB shopping center at 1604 and 281 about 6 years ago. Unfortunately for them, they pulled out a bit too early. We frequented there often, but honestly I thought their prices were a bit high even without the extra bonus shots. They were something else before "Jamba" took over...but it was basically the same thing with new decor. I'm sure with all the growth out in Stone Oak they would be doing well right now. I just think they tested the SA market too soon.

I may be wrong, but hasn't Starbucks added a "smoothie" type drink to their menu? There may not be "Jamba's" here, but I know there are variations of it at different establishments all over town. Let us know what you find!

There is one by CostCo at 1604/281. It took over the old Marble Slab location. It's next to Macaroni Grill.

There is a Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffee & Smoothie Shop coming to the HEB Plus Shopping center on Potranco

http://www.mauiwowi.com/

Bally's Fitness makes smoothies that sound pretty good, you do not have to be a member to go to the gift shop where it's located

I think some of the fruit cup type places make smoothies, I know the one on Culebra does
