did the one on 151 move into the old Village Inn? If not, has anything moved into that building? The one in Live Oak is still vacant and for sale I think.

No, the Egg is on the Colonnade side north a bit from the big hotel.

The Village Inn became an upscaleish restaurant run by the Milano's group of folks. Aqua - something.

It's an expensive lunch - I don't know if it was a good move in this economy.

The Mrs and I visited the E&I at 151/410. she ordered an omelete. I ordered the corned beef hash..........well her omelete was very nice looking and tasty! The C.B.H. I ordered was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen served on a plate! So being new to Texas I told myself to try it maybe I'm over reacting........ well no it was burnt and pathetic!!!! Is their somewhere in SA to get some good tasting CBH?

I had horrible experience off Blanco. Bad service - overpriced food. Never went back. I did complain to corporate, but they gave me two SEPARATE $10 coupons, that I couldn't use at the same time, thus forcing me to return TWICE, to recoup my loss. NO WAY. I threw them in the garbage.

I finally went a couple of weekends ago and was totally unimpressed. Not bad service, just service with no personality. Food was just OK. Not in any hurry to go back, and if I never do, well, that's alright, too.

we just went to the one in Stone Oak and was pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed my food very much and the kids ate for free. Lunch for four was something like $12. Can't beat that. Agree on the service and hosting though...robots would be more chipper.

Village Inn? I did not know that SA had those and wasn't sure what it was at first.

Thought I found something funny in Denver on vaycay last year.

Although I did drink breakfast this morning...

Never been, no real desire to go (LOVE Magnolia). it seems like everything on their menu has Portabella Mushrooms and/or Hollandaise Sauce in it struck us as quite odd.
