Hi,

I'm hungry right now and want to try out a different decent priced chinese buffet around the area I mentioned. Maybe within a 10 mile radius of UTSA.

I've had china sea (not really decent priced, but A+) and chopsticks. Pf changs, pei wei (sucks), and Buffet King (closed down I think?) also. I thought I read somewhere about a place on Fredricksburg.

Anywho, thanks, again...a good reasonable priced chinese Buffet.

Taste of China used to be good--at Wurzbach and 10 behind the HEB, but it's been years since I've eaten there, so I probably shouldn't recommend it.

Just eat at a regular plate lunch place--Pearl Inn is right there on I-10 (on the service road) by Wood__________(the name of the road escapes me right this second but it has Wood in the name--Woodway maybe. Anyway, try there!

Woodstone

It's not buffet and not chinese, but asian...Rock San is in the Fiesta Trails shopping center where the Blimpies used to be. It's got noodles and sushi if you do sushi. Maybe even sweet and sour chicken. I got susih the last time I was there.

Oh, and I forgot HuHot, which I used to hate, and now I love. It's really good if you get your sauces down right! DeZavala and 10.

I get a whiff of HuHot every time I go to Walmart on DeZavala. Smells really good, and we've been wanting to try it out. So, what's the deal with the sauces?

What's the name of the Chinese buffet that is on the 410 access road between Callaghan and Evers? We tried it one day and it was pretty good.

You have to experiment a bit with the sauces. I prefer really spicy noodles, and I've finally got the correct mix. But it's a decent place to go--you're the one that puts your bowl of food together, so there's no one to blame but yourself for a weird combo.

I don't know how the guys at the grill keep everyone's stuff straight, though. They are really good!

Close enough for hungry tummies. At least it's AYCE. I didn't think he'd complain if he went and tried it.
