So about midnight last night I hear fireworks. I'm in UC near the forum. Anyone else hear them and have clue what was going on? It went on for like 30 mins with a finale and everything. It would have been awesome if it wasn't MIDNIGHT. The kids woke up and were pretty grumpy to say the least.

Which direction did they come from? They could have come from Retama Park, since you're kinda out that qay.

They seemed to be from Selma. but at midnight? oh well...

The fireworks were coming from Schertz Fest

A weekend celebration with food, games, music etc celebrating the city of Schertz.

It was their 50th anniversary.

es woke me up too! they were coming from pickrell park. SOOoo loud, I thought someone was breaking in my house. Then I thought my neighbors house was falling down. Lol. Then I woke up and realized what it was. Annoying to say the least.

I woke up too! My hubby, kids, and dog slept right through it

Now that was not expected! Honestly, living so close to an Airforce Base, I did get a little worried before I realized it was fireworks.
