ha ha, yep, I sure do remember those cattle and they were HUGE.. at first my wife thought they were cute, but changed her mind when they were right next to us.. I remember them grazing on the new sod and wondering what you could do with something that big.. so they ate some sod until their owner came and got them..

When we moved into Westcreek in 1994, there were times we almost hit cows IN THE MIDDLE OF WESTCREEK OAKS DRIVE ON THE WAY TO WORK!!! We use to drive VERY slow in the early morning on the way in...they would get loose constantly.
The CLOSEST HEB at the time is the old one at the corner of Culebra/Grissom and Tezel!!! There was NOTHING else out here except for the Diamond Shamrock (now Valaro) at the corner of 1604 and Potranco!
