Hello! I am relocating to San Antonio to take a job working for a contracting company as a speech pathologist. I have offers to work in NEISD and Judson ISD and was wondering how others feel about these school districts especially their special education division. Any information you all have would be greatly appreciated!

Also, I am planning on renting a home in the San Antonio area. Is finding a home to rent in either of those areas for around $1000/month reasonable or should I expect to pay more? I'm looking for a 3br/2ba home with a yard for our dog. I would like to know what rent for an average single family home would be. Thanks again!

I'm not sure about the special education part, but you should be able to find a decent rental home for that price.

We are moving to that area too. I work in special education also and was not really impressed with the schools that my kids will be going to. From what I understood my daughters school does not have a special ed. program. they either go to the intermediate school or schertz elementary. Let me know if you find out any positives. I am a big believer in inclusion and the schools here don't seem to have that.
