Does anyone remember this taco place that used to be up on Wurzbach and almost at Datapoint? I think it's where the Taco Bell is now. It burned down back in the 90's I believe. They used to have this revolving tortilla thing in the middle of the restaurant and they made really great corn tortillas.

Who here remembers Sombrero Rosa and Ta Casita in the 90s? They were brothers from Taco Cabana.

Kobe in Live Oak is finally open. We went last Sunday around 3 in the afternoon. Only had two chefs working even though they have 5 or 6 of the grill tables.

I tried it, food was very mediocre. Found it expensive for the quality of food fried chicken, meatloaf etc. I don’t plan on going back.
It’s a weird format particularly for a restaurant within a retail store. Like Maggiano’s it’s family style where you order multiple entrees for the table and it’s a per person price but they said leftovers NOT allowed for take home. So it’s kinda a limited buffet thing.
So if your shopping by yourself you can’t just order for one or grab a quick bite to eat, bizarre to have within a store imo

The Islamorada Fish Company restaurant was never busy, in my experience, and it lasted in that location for years.

It's the 4th location of this restaurant concept. I think people are just butthurt because they believe Paula Deen is a racist bigoted mysoginistic insensitive non-inclusive homophobic ( have I missed anything?) bigot. I hope it and she have continued success. I don't think she'll lose any sleep if it closes anyway.
