Why can't they move into Carinos on Blanco and 1604? ....give the Tilted Kilt some competition.

It's a Darden property. I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Well, in addition to having many friends who work for Darden corporate in Orlando, I've eaten at all of their concepts and none have impressed me much. The best of their lot is Bahama Breeze (for the bar, mostly) and Seasons 52 (a concept San Antonio should embrace). Capital Grille isn't terrible, but I've never been that happy with the quality of their beef for the price they charge.

As for Darden and their company culture: It's bad. I don't know much about them on a restaurant level, but in Orlando, they are complained about all the time.

There was a Chicago hot dog place on the corner of I-10 and DeZavala that is gone. It was predictable as the location is hard place to get to.

Just ate at BurgerFi on Bandera. It was ok, but nothing about average. The basic burger (no cheese), regular fries, and regular fountain drink was almost $12. Not worth it IMO.
