Cambridge is in the cottage area and still close enough to walk to the high school.

Honestly they are equal. Woodridge is a newer. Howard is not a full k-5 elementary school. If you choose to stay in AHISD there is always a little rivalry between the Woodridge kids and the cambridge kids.

I believe Howard is only for kindergarten and Cambridge and Woodridge are grades 1-5. I've never heard any comments about one being better than the other.

Howard is technically an "early child development center", and an excellent one at that. My nephew had a great deal of difficulty during his early school years (K-2) and the teachers at Howard were fabulous in working with him and his unique challenges (adhd, dyslexia, esteem issues). He's now thriving in 5th grade at Cambridge and still speaks fondly of his teachers at Howard.

I went to both schools. First of all AHISD is a very good school district.I would
go too the one which is more convient ,beside they combine woodridge and cambridge
kids in Junior school.

Woodridge and Cambridge are for grade levels 1-5

Howards- is kindergarden

We are considering our move to alamo heights..Does anyone know anything about the junior high school (middle School). My son is 13 yrs old and has ADD/ADHD does anyone know if AHISD has a good program for children with these disabilities. Maybe, even a private school! Also, How far is the medical center from alamo heights?
Thank You so much...
