Moving to the San Antonio area in January. I really like Boerne as seems like a very safe area looking for a newer or updated Apartment to rent. $1,200 is the budget for a large 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom. Looking at Vista Ridge in San Antonio as well.

It isn't as far out as Boerne, but I would suggest you look at The Retreat at Cross Mountain. They are under construction now and the area is very nice up in the hills NW of La Cantera. Located at the intersection of Heuermann and Babcock. It is a very good area. Very quiet.

Boerne is great, but it sounds like you already know that. I can't recommend most of the apartments in Boerne. I would suggest you look at renting a small house instead (if you want to be in Boerne proper) or find an apartment closer to San Antonio. Try Belleza at Cresta Bella, Eilan or the Residences at La Cantera (which should be opening up around your timeframe).

Ok great thanks for all the help. I have tried looking online for some houses to rent but not finding any good websites maybe I should contact a realtor there. Will be coming down in November to firm up where I am going to be working at along with place to live.

A realtor that specializes in rentals wouldn't hurt. Also, try realtor.com and search rentals in Boerne. They have some there that may be of interest to you. Also, if you go to the Boerne Star's website, look at classifieds and then rentals. There are usually a few options there as well. Note that rentals in Boerne go fast (usually in less than a week) if they are quality homes, so make a decision quickly once you figure everything out. Best wishes in your search!

There are new apartments being built now by Champion High School. They are built by the same company that has The Hills of Fair Oaks just off I-10 at Fair Oaks Parkway. Very nice apartment homes with great amenities. You might want to look into either of those.

Do you have a name of the complex?

It's the Ranch at Cibolo Creek. They are brand new, so for a short period, they may be decent, but know that Boerne apartments go downhill quickly.

What do you mean? Is Boerne not a good place to live?

It's a great place to live, but I think the single home route is the best route if you want to live in town in Boerne. I sent you a DM as well.
