Not for the faint of heart at all. Reminded me of when I lived in central Mexico with a family that literally ate every single meal with very spicy, freshly made hot sauce.
I ended up at La Michocana for lunch today. I tried the salsa and it is very spicy!

It was my first time there for lunch and I am not used to paying for my food before ordering. I didn't like that.

This is to davi78239 who originally started this thread. If you have a food processor you can make a almost a quart of "restaurant style" hot sauce in less than 5min. Take about half an onion, one large seeded jalapeno, maybe a 2 x3" piece of red or green bell pepper, 3 or 4 cloves of garlic, 8 -10 pieces of cilantro 1/2 to3/4t of comino (cumin) 1/2to 3/4t of chile powder and a little black pepper, you can adjust these according to your taste. Put all ingredients into processor or blender until finely chopped now take two 15oz cans of whole tomatoes, water and all and give them a little whirl, not too much or you will just have soup. You can add a small can of tomato sauce if you like. I left salt out of the recipe because some tomatoes have salt and some don't, so salt to taste. What is really nice is if you can find fresh tomatoes to are really ripe to the point where you can't even slice them this is a great way to use them. Most restaurants serve their sauce chilled or at room temp. I prefer it warmed,( not cooked ) so it doesn't chill the food, good luck. Get a bag of corn chips and dig in. Ray

..if you don't mind fairly hot try Julio's Serrano Salsa in a tub at HEB. Not bad.
