I saw this over in the Texas forum.

Figured with the drought many others might find this interesting reading.

Quote:
The Texas Water Development Board monitors water conditions throughout the state. Reports are created monthly for selected reservoirs, streamflow sites, and ground-water wells.
TWDB > Water Conditions Report

Don't know about anyone else but I am getting real tired of almost perfectly clear blue skies and triple digit temperatures, everywhere I look a carpet of gold crunchy grass.

Even the leaves on the trees are wilting.

About the only good thing I can say about this drought is I haven't seen any fire ant nests for months

I'm lovin' the seemingly endless dry blue sky sunny weather; however, I seem to be in the minority.

I don't mind rain while I'm sleeping though.

Most hurricanes aren't going to do us any good. But I so want rain really bad! I'm very very tired of this desert!

I can't wait..I'll even wash all my vehicles and plan an outdoor picknick if it helps bring the rain soon.

Gosh, never have I looked forward to a tropical storm or hurricane more than now. Even though I have a house in the Valley and experienced terror in the 80s with various killer Hurricanes, I AM GONNA TAKE ONE FOR THE TEAM AND SAY.....BRING ON THE RAIN.
