Ok, does it drive anyone else bonkers when you are on Braun Road at the lights waiting to head north on 1604 and people are in the lane to go straight, then they speed up and cut you off, so they don't have to wait in line?? ARRRRGH. Does this make sense? It drives me up the wall! Wait in line like everyone else does!!! Then some people even turn left onto 1604 from the lane that is supposed to be the STRAIGHT only lane. Pfffft. It wouldn't bother me if it had only happened a time or two, but this is seriously EVERY time I am in this area.. Which is a lot, because I live there. Can anyone stew with me? Please?? LOL Maybe I just don't have the aggressive gene required to drive around this city?? Hey I can admit that.. HAHA!

All the time, and I've almost been sideswiped by one woman in her Lexus who I guess felt she had some God-given right to cut ahead of everyone!

The worst part is that those guilty of it act like they've done nothing wrong at all!

Definitely a place where the SAPD could do with some "revenue generating" enforcement!

I live in that area so I avoid turning right on Braun Rd to 1604 North by getting onto the frontage road through Stonefield. I also hate going South on 1604 so I go to Guilbeau and turn left. The intersection at Braun Road is terrible because of the way the lights are synchronized and cars wanting to turn right are held up by motorists going straight. Call Tx Dot and tell them what you think. By the way do you know how to tell the difference between a local and a tourist in San Antonio ? The tourist knows where there going!

This happens ALL THE TIME when people turn left (west) onto 1604 from 281N. All the time.

Hopefully the new interchange will alleviate this.

LOL...How funny. I remember long ago when you went down Braun road to 1604, there was no traffic unless Braun Hall was having a dance that night. You might have to wait for a farmer on a tractor to roll by before you went ahead....but no traffic. Hardly anyone lived around 1604 past Bandera road going towards hwy 90 except a few old-timers. Even 1604 to 281 there were very few cars, and was deserted by 10 pm.....what happened? SIGHHH

the two lanes on the left allow left turn. Do you mean the third lane which is supposed to go straight only?

They are too busy ticketing CMV drivers for a small exhaust leak. Truckers supposedly have more money.

I swear, I've seen jerks jumping the double solid white and yellow lines right in front of a cop, but say If I had done it, he'd would of been all over me.
