Anyone you can recommend to replace (and possibly order through) some door frames/doors?

We've checked with Lowe's/HD but weren't sure of the quality of their work, their timeline is also a few weeks out.

Thanks for your help.

Do you know a Realtor - especially one that specializes in rentals? They'll often have good tradesmen that they use at reasonable prices.

You are right to question the quality of Home Depot installations. They just grab the first couple of yahoos that have a hammer and saw and send them out. I'll never let them install anything again. You would be better off doing it yourself. Not sure what kind of doors these are but look for someone who knows how to do that.

I'm always surprised by the folks that think the box store "contractors" will be doing quality work. A good tradesman is always busy - generally from referrals from happy customers. I've been approached by HD before to do softener/filter installs for them. They pay low, and anything that goes wrong is essentially going to be your fault. I took one look at their "offer" and told 'em that while I appreciated the interest, I hadn't yet gotten to the point in my life where I liked to lose money doing work.

I am a commercial contractor who has had to layoff some of my best craftsmen. Send me a PM and I will put you in contact with the best guy for the job. He is a trim carpenter who is a honest guy.
