I usually only make good suggestions on where to go. But in this case due to the nature of the crime, I will say where NOT to go:

Business Guilty Of Elderly Fraud - San Antonio & Texas News Story - KSAT San Antonio (http://www.ksat.com/news/20136521/detail.html - broken link)

I will never let Arrow live this down.

Primo, thanks for bringing that up....let's just say that I wasn't surprised, and leave it at that. I made the mistake of doing business w/the owner once, and never will again.

Nor should you. Anyone alive and reading the Express-News in the eighties will remember more than one time Paul Thompson came to the rescue of some elderly pensioner being taken advantage of. He was even pressured not to write about Arrow, as they were an advertiser in the paper. Needless to say, that didn't stop him.

It's amazing the life that some of these horrible companies have. You'd think word of mouth, or bad press would harm them, yet they continue on. It's too bad the Better Business Bureau is nothing but a scam.

The whole thing is as mystifying to me as those mexican restaurants that everyone goes to, and everyone talks about and then you go there to find out the food is absolutely insipid.

--my apologies to the OP for taking things further off topic. I'm curious too, and will be watching the thread. I've put off reupholstering a couple of chairs for years because I've heard mixed reviews of work done by a couple of places. I went to one place and the guy presented me with the latest sampling of his work.... My wife's grandmother did a better job when she was in her eighties and suffering tremors. It's hard to find someone who takes pride in their work these days.

I've used McCune on North Alamo at Jones. They have excellent workmanship and great fabrics. I'm sure you can find them in the net.
