My fiance and I just moved to South Jordan.. SOME parts of that area I can see being called snob city, but I really think it depends on what community you live in. Our neighborhood is very nice and not too snobby. I actually think there are worse areas with a higher snob value.. ie- cottonwood heights on the east.

As for the driving.. Utah is the worst! We moved from the baltimore MD area.. in the height of that baltimore metro/dc area traffic (which is worse than here) BUT the quality of drivers here could beat NYC. They are horrible! Yellow lights mean " drive faster as the inconvenient red light might hold you up" while red lights mean " if no one is coming, gun it.." Plus... what gives with grandpa driving 40 in the fast lane? arg!!!

Yes it does depend on the development. This one in particular is not friendly. My neighbor has lived her a year and a half and she doesn't know anyone besides three couples with kids. And yes the traffic makes Maryland look perfect

Are you in Daybreak? It's definitely the most diverse & open-minded community in South Jordan.

Yes we are. It is very diverse, but like other communities, you still have to get out and make the effort to meet people, otherwise it could seem like "snob city" like everywhere else. Gotta put in the effort! =)

I put in the effort here and so have my neighbors that have been here for a year or two and they can't get any further than me. They agree totally with me about this neighborhood and both had the problem with having to have something immediately
