Don't even get me started on unions, forcing the project to be 100% union would just delay the project and jack up the cost.

So, now that area will get private projects which will generate tax revenue, and will not be a bone thrown to the unions. The construction firms can hire whomever they want to hire, from all over the place (not just Monroe County).

Does not sound all that bad to me. One more union that we don't need to deal with.
The project should have dealt with the city and only the city, the construction work should have gone out to bid, not forced by M. Brooks to use a union. I mean I guess I just don't understand why the county needs to get their fingers into the city building projects? The whole county should just consolidate, how much time would this save?
