Any particular reason you are posting this here?

I moved back to Rochester from Raleigh, NC in summer 2007 after almost 13 years down there. It's a nice place and yes, it definitely has warmer weather but it's definitely not more affordable and the economy isn't really any better there these days either. If you have any kids I can almost garauntee you won't be happy with the schools there. They are good schools but the county-wide school system they are in is a MESS with bussing and constant reassignment of kids to different schools.

Too many people in Upstate NY think the south is just heaven and that moving there will make them happier; the grass isn't always greener folks.
