For any lawyers out there working in the Rochester area, how do you find the quality of life? What is usually expected of a lawyer at a mid-size firm? Hours? Weekends? We are considering relocating and I am wondering what I can expect for our family quality of life. My husband will be the one working at first. We have two children and another on the way.

Thanks!

Your question is too vague to be able to answer with any accuracy. In general, you will find the demands of the profession to be the same as anywhere else with a similar population

Yea, question seems kinda vague. I have friends in real estate law and medical law and they rarely work nights and weekends. Standard 9-5 hours. My lawyer friends seem to have more flexible schedules than most others.
