My company just moved me out to Rochester, I live on the east side of the city and I am looking to meet some new friends/significant others. Where are the best places or the best activities to do so?
I'm not into sports much. I do like to bowl, golf (not an option now I know). I work out a bit, I joined a gym already. Anything to do with food, eating, cooking etc. I'm good with woodworking. I like to drink lol, but I'd rather not meet people at bars.

Not sure what your age range is but the Rochester young professionals has meet ups that have a variety of activities. There are also your normal dating sites. If you aren't into sports but want to get outside there is a large kickball league where you can be added to a team if you are new in town. It acts as a social network more than a competitive sports league.
There are also meet up groups for any interest you would have.
Yeah, even if you're not into the bar scene they're still an easy way to find good people, so the east end would be the place (it's the main nightlife district). There's a lot of amateur sports leagues, gyms, etc around. I like to hang out in the coffee shops in the southeast neighborhoods, personally
