Just wondering. For me:

Like:
The people I work with.

The cafeterias. Very convenient and offer various things (granted some better than others)

Town Center. Too bad I don't have more business over there so I can snack more (wait maybe that is a good thing.....).

Having all the little conf. rooms you can "escape away to" so you can actually work in peace and quiet. Just wish they all had docking stations...

Dislike:
The lack of docking stations. I hate working directly off of a laptop!

The generally unfriendly/arrogant attitude many people seem to have (fortunately, none I work with, at least not yet). God forbid someone should say "good morning" or "hi" as they walk by or are getting coffee - the women are esp bad this way IMO. Some won't even respond if you do so. FYI ladies, you aren't all that, and just because someone says hi doesn't mean they're hitting on you. esp if they're married.

The smoking slugs who toss their cig butts on the ground. IMO they should install cameras and bust these losers.

Weather won't cooperate much longer now, but even in warmer months, the refusal to actually use the outdoor areas for softball games or just after-work gatherings of some kind. In fact almost no "comeraderie" at all generally, but I think that's sadly common in corp's nowdays.

The age discrimination. I doubt it's a coincedence that most people there look to be about 30 on down. Or do they just age really well?

Sounds like the the Westcreek campus. Hopefully your ID card doesn't say contractor, or your about to have more negative comments to make.

And they throw it usually within a foot of the ashtray. They have to take that last puff before walking into the bldg. What pisses me off is some exhale in the enry area. BTW there are cameras everywhere.

It depends which campus you're in. Westcreek seems to be the most NY like (eyes down,no eye contact), while Innsbrook is the opposite.

Find the smokers or the parking lot walkers. They are the only groups you'll see. Past that its car-bldg-car for most.

It depends more on the area/dept/building. Younger are cheaper. The older ones get to stay home and connect in.
