I wouldn't hold my breath. Of course this is a Providence crime story. But they're absolutely furious that their crime posts were relegated to a sticky which mostly gets ignored (there hasn't been an actual discussion there for over 2 weeks and the last 10 posts are just links). So they're going to do everything they can to bring it out into the rest of the forum.

Let's recap. During the past 10 days in Warwick:

A Warwick middle school principal was arrested for drunk driving.

5 students were arrested at a Warwick high school.

A murderer living in Warwick was arrested. A SWAT team needed to be called in.

A Warwick resident shot and killed his 4 year old child.

A Warwick resident was arrested for putting a camera in the bathroom at a children's hospital.

Oh and a whole bunch of cars were broken into in Warwick.

I just can't decide? Is it more irony or more Projection. You decide.

This Rhode Island forum is becoming or has become a crime platform for two posters.

One other locations in this thread is Gaspee Point and another Apponaug which both are not Oakland Beach locations.

"Oakland Beach is a great little up and coming neighborhood."

^ says no one even remotely familiar with the area.

Oakland Beach, during my entire lifetime, has been and is one of the trashiest areas in Rhode Island.

So now TripAdvisor and Google Street views are how we judge a community? At least be honest and show all the reviews for Oakland Beach, Warwick, Rhode Island. You quoted a review from over 10 years ago, of course things have gotten better since then.
