As long as there's no public funding, why do you care? The PawSox had lotscof years when they lost money, and had a bankruptcy. Plenty of rich people are willing to lose money to own and build a team. Look at Ryan Reynolds with Wrexham - who are still losing money. If you want that Premier League money, you've got to spend to be promoted.
Ipswich Town is second, down a point, and will be promoted. They were 9th last year.
