Yet my AAA membership gives me a better discount. As far as I can tell the only benefit I notice is reading material for the bathroom, I am letting my membership lapse in may.

Many restaurants in our area offer a 20% senior discount as is. Grocery stores 5% off on Tuesday . I basically don’t want to carry yet one more card in my wallet. My AAA card is important, AARP card?-haven’t used it in four years. AAA has travel and DMV services, not to mention roadside.

Don't agree with their politics. Also agree it is too big for it's britches. They are positioned as "the senior warriors" but with money making tendencies.

As suggested, look around there are other deals for us out there.
