They won't announce it until sometime during the last week of December.

I'd rather go into Walgreens than Walmart. My local Walgreens is well laid out with products attractively displayed, and the aisles all make sense, also easy to navigate. I don't have to walk acres for what I need. It always feels fun to shop there. To me, these things offset any possible savings elsewhere.

My particular area must be very lucky because of the four Walmarts that are nearby, all are easy to get around in and find merchandise; aisles are kept clear for shoppers; employees are professional, helpful, and friendly. I have heard horror stories of some WMs that aren't that pleasant to shop in.

Thanks, MMOB. I just set up my phone so I'll receive an alert on Tuesday.

BTW, I'd rather shoot myself than shop at Walmart.

Not only is it senior day, but the end of season sales at Walgreens are fantastic. I got a bunch of items last week at 50% off and then more % off of that (didn't know the latter till ringing up at the register). One little known fact is that W's carries a lot of decent clothing items like Fruit of the Loom white and colored T-shirts in all sizes from small to x-large, a quality weight cotton. They usually sell 3 for $10. Senior discount on top of the sales.

Curious considering the link I provided was their national ad from their website.
