I don't like Reno downtown where all the casinos are...but I will take you advise and drive around by McCarren. I am planning on another trip very soon. My concern is my daughter who is in theater.

Default made our decision and moved to Wadsworth, NV

Well I know that I had posted before inquiring about Reno. We just purchased a home in Wadsworth, NV and we are really very pleased with the purchase. My adult children won't have to relocate they will be able to make the payments on our home in California, so everything has worked out fine after all. I do have some questions, because I really don't know about the area very well, but I was wondering about a good hair salon. This question really goes to the ladies out there. Where is there a good hair salon in Fernley? Any help would be greatly appreicated.
Have a great day

We've been in Reno for several months now and my wife can't stand it. The people are rude, cold and self centered. We live on Skyline blvd which is very close to McCarren. We are actually looking to move to California. Roads are nice, people drive like they have sense, and everyone we've met over there have been nice.

We purchased a home in Wadsworth which is 26 miles north of Sparks and 2 miles south of Fernley. It's a small community if you blink you have passed it by. It's the turnoff to Pyramid Lake. So far we really like it. It's very small community but that's what we were looking for. We currently live in Northern California which is very busy, so we enjoy the quiet. We are still able to come back and forth from Reno as we still own our home in San Jose. I just wanted to know if anyone knew of a good hair dresser as we live so close to Fernley.

Wadsworth is on the Pyramid Lake Indian reservation. Don't you have to be an Indian to live there? From what I've seen of Wadsworth, the town is kind of run-down and dumpy looking.

Default Wadsworth, NV

Wadsworth was owned by the indians but they sold the land. We live in a small community of about 34 homes off of the freeway. If you go farther in by the post office it seems to be run down. We are happy with our purchase and the neighbors are very friendly.
