There are prophecies spoken all through the Old Testament about the coming Messiah. And in Psalm 78 verses 1 and 2 we read about one of the signs to look for, when seeking the Messiah to come.
1. Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth. 2. I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
Jesus Christ is the only person to of fulfilled the 300 prophecies of the Old Testament. And speaking in parables was the fulfillment of one of those prophecies.
What I meant by "Moses didn't bother to mention it", I was speaking of hell rather than the messiah. It has always made me wonder why with something as terrible as hell, something that should be avoided at all costs like hell, that Moses was completely silent on the issue. One would think that the Law would have be the perfect place to have warned against it....a lot.
Jesus was much of a failure as Mohammad was; Mohammad was no better than Buddha.
Jesus Christ fulfilled the 300 prophecies of the Old Testament. Mohammad and Buddha did not fulfill anything. And the Old Testament tell us, that who ever follows God's messenger will be forgiven of sin. Jesus is the only one that can forgive sin. In reality, the ones that truly fail, and the ones who ignore the salvation that can only be found in the person of Jesus Christ.

I never really understood the Abrahamic notion of God. In my view, we are all messengers of God in a way.
Salvation? I don't really see anything to be saved from. Least of all from God, lol!

Buddha wasn't trying to fulfill any prophecies, which among other reasons, is why he really can't be compared to Jesus and Mohammad.
The only philosophies that make any sense:
Buddhism, and the philosophies of Native Americans and other indigenous cultures.

"Work out your own salvation"
--Buddha.
Only a true messenger of God will have lived a perfect life. And a true messenger of God will have evidence to show us that He really did come from God. And Jesus Christ is the only man on earth that had a Book written about Himself before He was born. And that is why we see Jesus fulfilling the 300 prophecies of the Old Testament. Salvation can not be earned by works. And Scripture tells us, that without Christ Salvation you will without question need to be saved from your life, which is far from perfect. For you can only enter Gods Kingdom, if you are perfect.

I think that is backwards. I always heard the Kingdom of God was within you, not the other way around.
Jewish people will disagree with you on whether or not their holy book talked about Jesus Christ. You have to do mental gymnastics to try and make that one work, I'm afraid.
If you need saving, go right ahead and call on Jesus to bail you out. I however, am in no need of saving. I am here. I am now. What do I need to be saved from? I will always be here now.
And what do you know about perfection?
We are all perfectly being who we are. Can you think of someone who could be a better you than you? Hmmm?
