That's not fair! I wanted to say that to her first.
Still, you have to give her credit for what can only be called chutzpah. She dismisses nearly 2,000 years of persecution and pogroms with a wave of the hand. Not everyone can do that so casually.

Christianity has tried to wipe the Jews off the face of the earth for the last 2000 years. When Christians couldn't kill us they exiled us.
Christians may not still be committing these atrocities against us but in the last century many Christians were still committed to the extinction of the Jewish people through genocide, pogroms and exile.
Nothing good came for the Jewish people with Christianity.

The campaign of today is directed at conversion. the goal is still the same. Elimination of Judaism.

Jews in America have faced anti semitism. The synagoge I attend is locked the catholic church next door is not. There is a reason just about all Jewish facilities are locked and you need to be buzzed in.

I am speaking of Christians, not the government. US Christians are the most persistent of the evangelists and do try to convert every non-christian they find.
The US agenda for supporting Israel is not based upon any religious ideology.
But many Christians do have the mission of converting the Jews, even in Israel. Not only is there a chance of that happening, it is happening.

I'm African-American but my Great Grandmother was a full blood Native-American and I have some White Caucasian Blood in me also....Of course what you said is true.
