Well that's something I haven't thought about, but infertility is defined as a woman who can not conceive a child without a year of unprotected sex or 6 months if she is above the age of 35. So in essence you can be infertile one year and fertile the next. So I can't answer your question

In essence, it is a response to the moral irrationality of religious dogma: If one is born gay, then God willed it and it should be accepted as a legitimate lifestyle and/or identity.
If people are born with the propensity to be angry, should they hurt and kill people? If they have, which some people theorize, a propensity towards alcoholism, should they drink or take drugs?
What a completely insane argument: If you have a weakness, do it anyway cause your born with it. And if your born with it, God willed it therefore He wants you to indulge in your weaknesses and it should be accepted by society as normal behavior.
I believe that some folks are just experimenting. Some are being counter-social. But for the most part, I believe that most gay folks are born gay. I cannot believe that people would intentionally choose a lifestyle that will give them years of hardship and ridicule.
So you're saying that I'm unnatural because I can't breed?
You know nothing about me, interesting judgment.
Are you saying I'm a defect?
That I'm not human or something?
What's your real agenda here? Belittling, judgment, superiority, fear of your own sexuality?
My agenda here was to comment on a statement that was made and give my opinion. Perhaps I was a little unclear, homosexual acts are unnatural. Sorry to inform you, but opinions are judgements rather good or bad
First, a thread about being born gay or not doesn't belong in a religious forum. I think we all can agree that even if science could point with hard proof to a biological cause for homosexuality, the church would still be against it.
Second, I have learned to accept that some people feel that being gay is wrong and that I'm a 'victim' of something or that I'm a pervert who chooses a 'lifestyle'. I simply don't associate with those people (why associate with someone who thinks you are either mentally ill or a liar?) and only have a problem when they try to infringe on my rights or spread misinformation to discredit and demean me and other homosexual people.
Third, this is the second such thread I've seen on here in a short time. The first one was locked and then 'suprisingly' a 'new' poster posts one thread shortly after it was locked. It may be someone trying to stir the pot which leads to no productive or, really, enjoyable conversation.
Thank you and I hope I have not upset anyone with this post. I love all people and feel everyone would do well to stop concentrating on our differences and what may or may not get us into heaven and instead work to our common bonds as humans who have empathy for the similar struggles we all share.

Sure it is because it isn't happening in nature <------Thanks Haaziq

Protected sex isn't natural. I have never said anything to the contrary.
Homosexuality, on the other hand, is natural. It's all about genetics.
