According to the Bible, (God's word according to Christianity and Judism) God referred to man, his creation (according to the Bible) as stiffnecked, liar, deceitful murderous, backbiting, and a host of other dehumanizing descriptions. Now, in light of God's opinion and lack of trust toward man: Why would God require mankind (according to the Bible) to have faith and believe that the Bible is truly His Word, eventhough the same men whom he described as deceitful and liars wrote it? It seems rather strange, that God would base man's eternal existance upon believing and "having faith" in a Bible written by a group of lying, deceitful men that He himself (God) had a very low opinion of. Could God Be This Unjust?
You are criticizing the Christian worldview by assuming your worldview, a worldview that cannot make sense of the Bible as the Word of God. If you look at the Christian faith as a whole, you would know that Christians believed that all that is written in the Bible is inspired by God, and therefore, it is inerrant and trustworthy. Your criticisms assume that is not the case. All people are deceitful and wicked and sinful, but God, by His grace, chose to use certain human beings to communicate His Word to humanity. They wrote what was inspired, or literally "God-breathed". Thus, God's Word is as trustworthy as He is.
If you accept your own arguments, then why would you even believe that God, according to the Bible, does require faith from mankind? If the Bible is not trustworthy, given its finite and errant character, then how do you know anything that the Bible says is right? You cannot even argue your case unless your arguments themselves are false...

Man did not write it, God did and I do not believe He is unjust. Read 2 Timothy 3:16

It all depends if you are a believer or not. That's where faith comes in to play.

I have no problem believing that the Bible was written by the the inspiration of God...I have a problem with people and the Church refusing to acknowledge that the Bible was changed, corrupted and tampered with.
Furthermore, so far as the Bible being the "inspired Word of God": I believe that beautiful poems, kind words, love letters, wonderful thoughts written on paper, are also written by the "inspiration of God". God's inspiration in writtings, teachings, and the conscience of man is not and never was limited to the writting of the Bible.

Reason: error
I believe that the scriptures written by imperfect men are inspired by God. God knows what He is doing. Those liars, deceitful, backbiting, murderous men are also loved by God. Jesus gave His life for them. God bless.
