I think everyone plays nice for the most part. I am firm in my beliefs- as are others. Speaking or debating with others is not going to persuade anyone of anything that is not in their heart.
I know if I start to get agitated too much, or 'angry' I step out of the conversation. I think most others do the same.
I think it mirrors much of real life, except people online are more likely to insult one another because they can hide behind their computers. But most people I know aren't threatened by another person's beliefs. There are only those few Christians that feel the need to evangelize, and the few atheists that feel the need to do the same... but they tend to be the exception.
It's interesting, when I first came to this form I was a little skeptical as to how my beliefs would be accepted or understood, however I have found that the majority of the people in here have been very respectable of other peoples beliefs, I seriously think that if we all sat down around a table together we would be able to get along and have some very interesting conversations over the subject and still be able to agree to disagree on certain aspects of religion and philosophy and maybe even learn a little more about each other and our cultures. Wouldn't that be interesting? Anyway I'm glad this form is here and I have learned from some of you and hopefully some of you have learned from me.

You have shared your beliefs and I hope we get to hear more from you. It would be nice to learn more about the Native Americans, maybe we can start seeing one another as human beings and not by culture or religion, even though that is a big part of what we are.
Actually, my great grandfather was Cherokee. I'm hoping to do genealogy this summer on my family and hope to see were it takes me.
