I've discovered something lately; I think i'm starting to like women in their 40s. I think they're looking hot, i don't know why.
Now, I am 30 years of age. Would the average 40-something woman mind dating somebody 10 or so years her junior? Would her friends tease her, or be supportive?

You will not have a problem at all. Her friends will love you. I think these actually work better in many cases as I indicated in another thread. Offsets are not comparable commodities. As a matter of fact, she may tend to forgive benign ignorance and consider it the charms of youth.
You'll find women get better with age. There is usually less drama, they are more secure in their sexuality and know what they like
Never forget one of the basic rules when you meet an older women is never tell her "I like older women". That's a deal breaker.
The rules are different then dating 20 something girls. You need a good job, they have higher tastes on where they go, you need more style and knowledge on how to treat a real lady.

Ya know, bro, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Back when we were in high school, yeah, it was a little weird.. but hell man, we're adults now. If we like someone the we just simply like them - no matter what their age is.
And yes, there's a hell of a lot of hotties that are 40 and beyond..
