I'm in better shape now (38) than I've ever been. As cliche' as it sounds, I learn more about myself and more about life every year, and find a little more peace. I take better care of myself than ever. When people ask me how old I am they are always surprised and guess about 10 years younger.
But more than looks, I think it comes down to being comfortable with myself. I know what works for me. I don't try to wear clothes that I know would look ridiculous on me. I know what suits my body and I dress to complement my best features. I also know that long hair works for me and am no longer tempted to cut it all off in a trendy short cut (oh the agony of growing it back out!). I think with age comes some wisdom.
I was an ugly duckling until I was about 16, and suddenly I blossomed and didn't know what to do with all the male attn I was getting. I was very shy and insecure though, so now that I'm 50 and fairly well preserved, I think I'm attractive to more people than I was--or at least more aware of that fact.
I look the same now as I did at 40, 30, 20, 10, 10 minutes. If someone sees a baby picture of me they can tell it's me immediately.
My mustache is gray (but the head isn't) and I am getting "lines" but I look the same . I'm 55.

I haven't peaked. Don't think I ever will.
i can totally agree w this, in your 30s, u have still the looks but your a little smarter, you watch what you eat more than in your 20s, no more triples at wendys lol. You get comfortable in your own skin, and find out what works for you, you dont look like a walking latest clothing trend advertisement.
I've gotten better with age, I think (hope!). I've been blessed and cursed at the same time being called "cute" for most of my 20s. The last couple of years it has transitioned to "pretty," but, I think, like someone else said, it has more to do with confidence and personality than anything else.
