I know a lot of women who enjoy inappropriate comments. You know, the "hey, nice rack" type of comments. Some women I know thrive on that sort of thing. They annoy me.

I have been on cd for awhile but just started posting in the relationship threads
I have quickly noticed that it is made up of nothing but a bunch of women thrown together to man hate
Either you're blind, illiterate, or just plain incoherent because just like yours, it has been filled with women-resenting, misogynist, embittered single guys for a good while.

What is with so many men making rude and/or inappropriate comments to and about women and thinking it is okay? Then they get upset if you call them on it. I had a man online tell me that he only talks to hot women at work. He was always a cool guy so this seemed ridiculous. He just kept defending it and I asked why he talked to women online without knowing if they were attractive. He had no answer and said he hoped he hadn't ruined things between himself and the women in our chat group.
I can't explain how many times men have said inappropriately sexual or creepy things, subtle putdowns or outright insults, while trying to get me to LIKE THEM. Sometimes it's clearly objectification, as if that is a complement.
One guy called me a racist because I lived in a mostly white state- then asked me out- No thanks, pal.
Just wondering the deal. Someone suggested these are heterosexual mysogynists, who resent their need for a woman, but don't think they are really bad guys.
it's the struggle men have between saying things that are truthful and forthright, and saying things that will be seen as "attractive" to women, and lead to sex.
it becomes particularly confusing when women say that they like honesty. Some men interpret this to mean, "Honesty will make me more attractive, and get me laid." The reality is more like you describe: women "like" honesty because it helps them determine who not to have sex with. They aren't "attracted" to honesty.
I apologize in advance for replying to a dead thread, and I also apologize in advance for my unattractive honesty. This is the benefit of the internet, I'm not trying to have sex with any of y'all.

Men say all kinds of things. Dissect every sentence to one million interpretations and it leads to one thing only - a lonely life, Jane. Are you ready for it?

Good thing. Damn! Why is it the new members keep digging up old threads? Don't they anything better to do?
